After your student is accepted
Congratulations, you’re part of the Saluki family! You have taken the steps to get here, and now, we have just a few more important things to do.
New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation (NSO) is a one-day program for new SIU students and their families. NSO will fill you in on all of the details of getting your student ready for college life.
University Housing
It's important that your student act as early as possible. University Housing will assist in your students transition to their new home at SIU.

Saluki Family Association
Stay informed about upcoming events for families. The Saluki Family Association is free and and allows you to stay connected to SIU throughout the year.

The family mailing list offers tips on how to help your student, reminders of important dates and financial information, as well as SIU news and accomplishments.
