A lot of things have changed on campus in regard to how you register and interact with key university services via SalukiNet. A number of students have told us that they have experienced some confusion regarding our new processes. So, we just wanted to check to see if you too may be experiencing some difficulties. We want to help you figure it all out, and we are sorry for any problems you may have had.
We have developed RapidReg, just for you. RapidReg is a process that allows students to get help on the telephone or meet in-person with Admisions, Registration, and Financial Aid staff to get any problems you may face in getting started for Fall 2009 and get things sorted out.
You will be able to call in with questions or concerns from 8:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. beginning August 3rd through August 27th (excluding weekends).
RapidReg walk-in service extended office hours until 7:00 P.M. will begin August 17th and run through August 27th (excluding weekends).
On Saturday, August 22nd students will have the opportunity to stop by from 8:00 A.M. through 4:30 P.M. to take advantage of the service if you cannot make it on a weekday.
The Pre-Major Advisement Center will be open until 6:00 P.M. with telephone assistance available until 7:00 P.M. The telephone number for the Pre-Major Advisement Center is (618) 453-4351.
The Graduate School will be offering expanded hours through the Graduate Admission and Graduate Registration offices beginning Monday, August 17th through Thursday, August 27th. These expanded services will be available until 6:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday. The Graduate Admission Office telephone number is (618) 536-7791. Information Technology provides the Computer Support Center (Help Desk) to assist with computer network and email issues. The CSC offers extended hours for the first two weeks of the semester (until 8:00 P.M.). For the remainder of the semester, the CSC accepts walk-ins until 5:00 P.M., and offers telephone assistance until 7:00 PM. The CSC is in the Northwest Annex, A Wing, Room 137.
