Veteran Admission Information
Southern Illinois University Carbondale welcomes veterans and military personnel to the Saluki family.
Veterans are admitted to SIUC without regard to their academic performance before entering the service but must satisfy high school course pattern requirements (if deficiencies exist, admission is on a provisional basis) and must submit all official transcripts. If any college course work was completed since separation, veterans must have an overall C average (2.0 on a 4.0=A scale) as detailed above. Veterans under age 21 must submit ACT or SAT scores.
