| Class Size Distribution SIUC limits the number of students in each class according to the type of class. For example, a class in English composition will be kept small to enable the instructor to evaluate writings. On the other hand, an introductory class in psychology requires student exposure to terms and concepts, which can be accomplished in a larger, lecture format. The limits imposed on class size range from 1 to 276 students. |
