After You’re Accepted

Once you’ve been admitted to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, congratulations! You’re joining over 269,000 degree-seeking Salukis since the school started in 1869.

There are just a few more necessary steps to complete your enrollment:

• Claim your Network ID and password through Salukinet
• Submit a Housing contract
• Register for New Student Orientation (NSO)
  • The New Student Programs office will arrange academic advisement appointments for all new students upon registration for NSO
  • If you have not yet registered for NSO but want to arrange an academic advisement appointment, contact your advisor to schedule your classes
• Complete and return your Immunization Compliance Form
• Apply for Financial Aid
• View the online Welcome Packet
• Send your final transcripts
